1971 saw the very first UK Paramedic start work for an ambulance service and the role has grown yearly. 2021 saw the start of the very first Paramedic Roadmap and the start of this profession within Primary Care. Just in the BSOL area Paramedic numbers have grown over 700% from 2021 adjusting well to the Primary Care sector.
Paramedics working in Primary Care have become one of the most sort after Additional role registered professionals ensuring this allied health professional will be a key component for years to come.

Please celebrate International Paramedics Day with us on 8th July 2024 with all the Paramedics, Technician's, call takers, ECA's, Volunteers and anyone else who works with the role of Paramedic.
