Mentoring is a partnership between two people and is about developing opportunities as well as solving problems. Being trained as a mentor gives you the opportunity to mentor others, whilst learning new skills, developing greater self-awareness and reflecting on your practice.
This programme is intended to provide you with a better understanding of the structure of the mentoring process and of the intellectual design behind mentoring. The programme will include:
- What mentoring is and the benefits of mentoring
- Mentoring core skills
- The mentoring relationship
- Tools for the mentoring conversation
- Action planning and reflection
The programme is FREE and exclusively for registered manager members of Skills for Care.
You will need your membership number when you register; you can find this on the certificate you would have received as a new member, or on your membership home page (click here). If you cannot find this or you think you do not have access to it please email membership@skillsforcare.org.uk.
This programme will be run on Zoom.
