Dorridge Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative 4 session GP who is interested in a clear, supported pathway to partnership within a short, defined timeframe. This role is ideal for a GP who enjoys clinical excellence, values good governance, & and wants to help continue to shape the future of a stable, well‑led practice.

We are a circa 10,800‑patient training practice, in a purpose built building, with a strong governance culture, a supportive multidisciplinary team; and a commitment to safe, sustainable general practice. Our partners work closely with our Practice Manager and leadership team to maintain a calm, organised environment where clinicians can thrive. Dorridge Surgery carries a strong tradition in maintaining clinical and educational development.
You will join us initially as salaried GP, with:
- 4 clinical sessions per week
- Total triage model, with 2 GP duty team
- Low home visiting
- Clinical & admin work (additional due to partnership progression, to be discussed at interview)
- A supportive induction period
- Protected time for leadership development
- Opportunities to take on lead roles aligned to your interests (e.g., safeguarding,
quality improvement, prescribing excellence etc)
- A structured progression plan towards partnership
Progression to Partnership
We are looking for someone who genuinely wants to become a partner. We will provide:
- A clear partnership timeline (6–9 months)
- A transparent induction into governance, finance, and strategic decision‑making
- Mentorship from existing partners
- Opportunities to shadow partner meetings and strategic work
- A supportive environment to build confidence in leadership responsibilities
