Description

We are a traditional and independent practice based in Solihull seeking an Assistant Manager. If not an assistant manager already, the successful candidate will have general practice and team leadership experience. A professional and friendly person with excellent communication skills is essential as well as being flexible and proactive.

This is a new permanent employed position of 25-30 hours per week spread over 4/5 days. Working time will be on site and during our open hours of 8.30 - 6.30.

We have an Outstanding CQC rating, a purpose built building and on site car park. Our patient population is diverse and friendly and the staff are lovely. We use SystmOne and are a training practice with GP registrars. We are a forward thinking practice with patient care at the heart of our mission.

Hobs Moat Medical Centre provides primary medical services to 11,200 patients. We serve a diverse patient population in terms of age as well as socioeconomic status and we also look after a care home located very near by.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Practice Manager will support the daily operational, administrative, and organisational functions of the GP Practice, ensuring high-quality patient services and smooth running of all practice activities. The post holder will work closely with the Practice Manager, clinical team, and administrative staff to maintain efficient systems, support staff performance, ensure compliance with NHS and CQC standards, and contribute to continuous improvement within the practice
