Courses & Events

There are many training and development opportunities for members of staff working in both clinical and non-clinical roles in general practice in Birmingham and Solihull to support with upskilling, recruitment and retention.

Unless otherwise stated, courses are fully funded. Funding is received from multiple stakeholders, including but not limited to, Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board, NHS England and Education Partners. All courses are subject to the Birmingham and Solihull Training Hub Training Terms & Conditions.

ACP MSc (full course & top-up)

Expressions of interest for funding for the ACP MSc courses are closed for 2025/26. Applications will re-open upon funding confirmation from NHS England for 2026/27.

Fundamentals of General Practice Nursing

Expression of interest for a funded place on the Fundamentals of General Practice Nursing course are closed for 2025/26. Applications will re-open upon funding confirmation from NHS England for 2026/27.

Non-Medical Prescribing (for AHPs & General Practice Nurses)

CPD Funding for Registered Nurses, Nursing Associates and AHPs
