From training to workforce planning

Find out about us

Business Coaching

We provide expert, tailored, and holistic training and support for our healthcare family members throughout their career journeys in primary care.

Everything we’ll do for you is based around our six core values:

Working in healthcare can be a rewarding, enjoyable, and meaningful experience. But as you’ll no doubt be aware, it is by no means an easy one.

Without the proper professional training and pastoral support, healthcare is a hard environment in which to survive and thrive.

At the same time, with the right resources in place there are many exciting opportunities to be explored for all of us.

We aim to provide outstanding holistic support to every member of our healthcare family at every stage of their careers – including our own staff.

Whilst we are proud to provide support and guidance to everyone we deal with, we cannot live their professional lives for them.

Nor would we want to.

Instead, we want to empower you with the skills, experience and self-confidence to find and follow your own individual path.

We also encourage all those we help to ‘pay it forward’ – by encouraging and inspiring other members of our healthcare family to believe in themselves, their abilities, and their potential.

We understand that modern primary care can be a fast-moving, unpredictable, and challenging environment. This can be both exhilarating – and a little overwhelming at times.

Now more than ever, it is vital that we provide consistent professional training and pastoral support to all of our stakeholders.

Our stakeholders know that we offer an expert service they can depend upon.

Wherever your individual journey takes you, we aim to be an anchor for you at every stage.

Our stakeholders trust in our proven experience, outstanding training expertise, and excellent industry reputation.

We take this responsibility very seriously, and work hard to provide impartial and up-to-date knowledge and advice to everyone we work with.

And we do mean everyone. We make sure our healthcare family members are treated with equal respect, regardless of their current role or professional background.

Our Hub also provide a safe space for you to discuss your experiences, ambitions, and any concerns you may have.

We want you to feel you can talk to us openly and honestly about your careers, professional goals, and any issues you may face along the way.

As healthcare professionals themselves, our team of experts can empathise with our stakeholders both inside and outside the NHS.

To us, this ability to listen and reflect is just as important as our ability to communicate with all the different groups we engage with.

We’re proud to be known for our friendly approach, outstanding service, and ‘can do’ attitude to training and development.

Our Hub offers ongoing training and CPD for all staff groups at all stages of their careers.

We understand that each person we deal with is on their own individual journey, and that they require their own specific support and guidance.

That’s why we tailor our offering to give you the best possible chance of achieving your goals.

Our history

A subsidiary of South Doc Services, our Training Hub began life in 2015. Initially we were known as CEPN, and covered the Birmingham South Central footprint.

Since 2017 we’ve been covering all of the Birmingham and Solihull ICB patch. We have a new emerging role following the recent publication of the Long Term Plan.
